Welcome and thank you for your interest in Ruxton Country School. Ruxton Country School is committed to its original mission of guiding each student toward academic, athletic, and moral excellence while valuing the learning needs and styles of the individual. We are committed to our students becoming complete human beings in mind, body, and spirit. Furthermore, Ruxton students learn that one's own worth can best be discovered by experiencing the worth of others in a community.
The admissions process at Ruxton focuses on the individual just as our mission does. Once the application and application fee have been received by the School, the student's visit and testing are scheduled.
In order for an applicant to be considered for admission, his or her folder must contain the following information:
- Completed Application
- Completed Parent Interview
- Completed Referral Forms from current teacher
- All transcripts from previously attended schools
- Copies of additional testing, if applicable
- Report of Ruxton Shadow Day
Decisions are made by the Admissions Committee, and students are selected for admission to Ruxton on a rolling admissions basis by the Admissions Committee.
